Created in Northern Virginia by close friends Sarah and Connie, Briar & Bloom reflects a shared belief that beauty, confidence, and creativity can bloom in every season of life.

Sarah

After raising six children and spending years building a life around family, Sarah found herself entering a new chapter, one with enough space to pause, breathe, and ask what she wanted to create for herself.

Briar & Bloom is that answer.

Originally from Northern California, Sarah made her way to Northern Virginia in 1998 and built her home, family, and life here. Through every season, she learned the quiet strength of resilience, the beauty of starting over, and the power of choosing growth when life opens a new door.

Connie

For Connie, Briar & Bloom is an exciting new chapter, one she steps into with gratitude, purpose, and creativity.

As a single mom to one grown child and a former military wife, Connie knows what it means to move often, adapt quickly, and begin again in unfamiliar places. Originally from Washington State, life has taken her through many seasons and many homes, but Northern Virginia has become the place where she feels rooted.

Building Briar & Bloom together is more than a business venture for Sarah and Connie. It is a chance to create something meaningful, express their creativity fully, and build a brand that reflects where they have been and where they are going.
